ABOUT
I am a native Japanese ceramic artist who loves to create tableware that can also be considered as daily art. My work focuses on the life cycles of nature and our farm in Texas where the landscape changes through the seasons.
My works have been exhibited at various Student Juried Shows, and I received First Prize, for Best of Show in 2022. In addition to the student shows, I also exhibited at the Dean's Gallery and the President's Gallery in 2023. I am now starting my commercial studio with Etsy being my primary online studio shop.
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2020 and Master of Fine Arts in 2023 both from Texas A&M University, Commerce (now East Texas A&M University).
At Minako Bass Ceramics, I am dedicated to crafting unique and functional pottery pieces that bring the beauty of nature to your everyday life. I am passionate about creating tableware that reflects the essence of my surroundings and sharing the story of my inspiration with you. I take pride in offering handcrafted ceramics that stand out and add a touch of artistry to your home.
My philosophy revolves around the harmony between nature and art, and I strive to create pottery that not only serves a purpose but also tells a story. I invite you to explore my collection and discover the beauty of handmade ceramics that celebrate the ever-changing seasons and the serenity of nature.
